Project overview

GT Academy National Finals Elimination Process

On Friday 1 August, 2008, 20 of the UK's fastest PlayStation racers will meet up at the British International Motor Show (London Excel) for the ultimate driving competition. Stakes will be high with the overall prize building towards a works drive in the Dubai International 24 Hour Endurance Race.

There are various stages of this competition. We will need to display up on screen via a laptop the results for each round in a leader board style database.

  • Up to 20 contestants will complete the round 1 time trials - they will be required to post 6 lap times on 2 different tracks (3 laps on each). The best time from each track is taken and combined to give each contestant an overall qualifying time.
  • 5 groups (4 people in each group)
  • 8 contestants are knocked out.
  • 12 contestants go through to round 2 and so on.

Client comment
